BIG DATA & HEALTHCARE ANALYTICS: A HIMSS EVENT
BOSTON, Oct. 22-23, 2018
HIMSS is accepting speaker proposals for the Big Data & Healthcare Analytics Forum.
The forum is the leading industry event for this mission-critical topic in digital transformation, and it’s attended by 250+ healthcare IT and clinical professionals seeking to kick off their analytic programs or take them to the next level as part of their efforts to sustain continual process and clinical improvemement - and meet the demands of value-based care.
For our Boston event, we want sessions that focus on developing a big data and analytics strategy, at the enterprise and department level. It’s great if your hospital or health system has developed an analytics solution to reduce readmissions, but if the solution doesn’t scale, if it’s a one-off, we’re less interested. We want speakers who can help attendees OPERATIONALIZE a data strategy to control costs and continually improve care and operations. If you can explain to attendees how to leverage data and analytics to become a learning health system, you're a speaker we want.
We’ll consider any session that advances that goal, and topics of interest include but are not limited to:
The forum stresses peer-to-peer learning, and case studies from payer and provider organizations are a priority. Presentations should demonstrate how your organization has used analytics to improve care and operations, reduce costs, achieve population health goals, and make better strategic decisions.
No commercial content. Submissions will not be selected if they appear to directly promote specific products/services or are of a commercial nature. Likewise, if your submission is selected, HIMSS has the right to request that you make modifications to keep your session within the program content guidelines. Vendor proposals are not accepted - unless made of behalf of a healthcare provider or payer customer.
The deadline for submitting a proposal 5 PM EST, Friday, May 25.
The program fills quickly, so don’t delay.
