BIG DATA & HEALTHCARE ANALYTICS: A HIMSS EVENT

Boston, MA
Oct. 22-23, 2018

Pop Health Discussion Group

October 22, 2018
1:40pm - 2:20pm
America Ballroom

In this highly interactive and fun session, a leading population health expert takes questions from the audience and delivers expertise and insights to help attendees drive greater success with their own pop health initiatives.

Questions already submitted include:

  • From the perspective of a provider, what’s the most important data integration point that could enhance the value of a pop health analytics exercise that organizations (providers) are likely NOT doing now?
  • Do you agree: There is no such thing as population health, only the health of individuals in a group. Why or why not?
  • What are good data sources for population health measures for a geographic based population rather than the population of people already in our healthcare databases?  How do we link information from these sources with the data in our healthcare databases?

This session will kick off the afternoon in engaging fashion and set the stage for the power-packed sessions to follow.
